I'm taking Japanese, Human Biology, Japan Today, Digital Photography and Music Theory, which i haven't been to yet and am going to replace with some international relations type course.
So far so good, and the kids at school are way way legit.
Plenty of skodes, as expected, but the anime-crazed mountain dew drinkers are heavily outweighed by totally cool guys and gals (cuties), lots of germans and frenchys as well as americans and japanese kids (duh).
I have close to a 2 hour commute each way every day, its kind of a bitch but it makes me feel like a japanese buisness man or something so thats cool... i get to spend lots of quality time with my ipod as well which never hurts. The japanese are very very orderly, everyone gets into little lines waiting for the train and bus; i've only messed this up a few times. the worst, but most hilarious incident happened just this morning...
It's commonly known that there is a pretty big problem with old japanese guys not being able to keep their hands to themselves on crowded trains... so the train companies came up with a pretty handy solution: a "women only" line for a "women only" train car. Pretty bizarre. Of course, not knowing this, i went and stood in a random line, paying no attention to the gender ratio, and was moments later scolded by about 3 platform officers, soon realizing what a horrible mistake i had made.
WHAT WAS I THINKING?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Anyway, school is off to an alright start, its still school, of course, but at least i'm in japan eh?
should have told the playform officers to fuck off, being that you're an americanjin.
