went on a camping trip to a mountain resort near tsukuba city, ibaraki prefecture.
didn't get many pictures because the weather was awful and it was cold and wet and i was generally lazy about it. the mountain was completely wooded -- kind of a jungle meets northern minnesota feel -- it was gorgeous. i wish i would have gotten a picture of the acres and acres of bamboo grove we hiked through. i highly recommend a good hike through a misty bamboo forest. possibly one of the most asian things you can do. good times.
